Our last day in the beautiful city of Perth!

Tuesday - day seven:

Our last day in Perth!!

We woke up early - like 6 or 6.30ish so we could catch the bus and train in to the city with Shaun on his way to work...

We had decided that we wanted to head in to Subiaco and have a look around, so we caught the train from Perth down to Subi.

First stop - Subiaco Oval, as we are big footy fans!!

This man who was driving the for lift full of coke was very lovely. He saw us taking photos and came up to us and said that he was about to unlock gate number 9 if we wanted to quickly run in and take some photos of the ground!! Ummm Yes, yes of course we wanted to!!!

After that we wandered around the streets of subiaco and had a bit of a shop and a look see. We had decided we wanted to go and have lunch at this restaurant, wagamama, as we had heard from everyone how good it was...

and the food was absolutely divine! delicious!

We are such tourists!!!

So that afternoon we caught the train back to Joondalup and went to the shopping centre. We did a lat shop - and got some more stuff - and then went to the supermarket to get some food, as we were cooking dinner for Shaun's mum to say thank you for having us!!

We cooked dinner, did some washing, packed our bags (this took awhile) and cleaned up the room we had stayed in and made it like we had never been there! haha.

And then Shaun took us to the airport!!

Our flights didn't leave til midnight. Mary was heading off to Brisbane for a week to see her cousins, and her flight was scheduled to leave at 11.59pm. I was flying back to Melbourne and my flight left at 12.05am!!

So we said goodbye to Shaun, and then he left and we hung out and then said goodbye to each other. I got on the plane, fell asleep, woke up a couple hours later and still had a couple hours til we got in to Melb. Landed in Melb at about 5.30am Melb time (3.30am Perth time). Picked up my luggage, booked in to head back to Hobart, and then went and fell asleep on a seat in the lounge for an hour or so. Left Melb at 8.30am and arrived home in Hobart at 9.40am! All i wanted to do was sleep, but Sam wouldn't let me as it would stuff my system up! Ended up that I stayed up tlil midnight or so - it was a rather long time without any real sleep!! Argh!!

But Perth was AWESOME - and our trip was amazing!! We had such a blast and it was heaps of fun going with Mary!!
