We left NY on Thursday the 4th of December very early in the morning (we had to get up at 3.30am). Flew across the country and arrived in Salt Lake City at 10.30am Utah time. This is what we got up to while staying in Utah...
- The mountains - I love these mountains - they look so funky!
- the NBA! Utah vs. Toronto. It was SO amazing! Fun Fun FUN!!
- Catching up with Steve (Elder Bylund) and Kim (Sister Stone)!!!
- The Mormon Tabernacle Choir in 'Music and the Spoken Word'
- The Great Salt Lake
- SNOW!!!!
- Temple Square and the Christmas lights
- A little car accident - apparently people in Utah do drive under the influence of drugs - the guy who hit us was arrested....
- Catching up with Elder Simons!!!!! This was so fun!

It's always fun to visit Utah - especially when there are friends to visit. While we were there we also met up with Uncle Doug, and had family dinner at Mum's cousins, Diane's with all their family. Mum and Dad also caught up with Uncle Gary one night.
We left SLC on december 10 - flew to San Francisco - flew to Auckland - Flew to Melbourne - Flew to Launceston.
Along the way...my suitcase was misplaced and did not arrive. It arrived in Launceston the next night, but I was already in Hobart by then. Collette kindly brought it down to Hobart for me a few days later!
