At the start of May, a friend from Utah, Kim (aka Sister Stone) who served her mission in the Melbourne West Mission, and served a few months in Hobart ward came back to Australia for a visit. We were lucky enough for her to come to Hobart for a few days and visit us and stay with me! Me and Elle took good care of her and shower her around some places in Hobart she hadn't been...and some she had...just never with the awesome company of me and Elle (haha, hey Kim??)!
Saturday night dinner upstairs at Little India.
I never even knew there was an upstairs...took the Utah girl to tell me that!!
We were the ONLY ones upstairs, except for this one random guy
who came up and didn't pay any attention to us!
We wanted to watch the movie "forever strong", which El had seen
advertised in a church catalogue or on a church dvd or something...
she had asked Kim to get it for her in Utah, but it was not out there and Kim couldn't find it.
But apparently a movie that was made in Utah can be rented from video city in Hobart!!
AND it was number 20!!
Woot woot!!

Apple and Guava juice on a sunday afternoon!
Sunday lunch at Dallin and Ali's
- eating on the balcony because they didn't have a table

On Monday we decided to head out to Port Arthur as Kim had never been there.
We stopped at the blow hole along the way!
Three crazy asians who apparently wanted to die by
going out where they weren't meant to!!
Pretty photo!!
And another pretty photo - my favourite!!
Umm....this is us posing in the car!! ha ha!
The chapel at Port Arthur.
Me and El got locked up - we look pretty sad hey?

We took Kim to the museum....umm...getting attacked by a seal!?
3D glasses - ha! We're so cool!
Oooh there was this weird exhibition on by Patricia Piccinini, titled "Evolution".
It was pretty freaky I have to say, all about what things could evolve to and
they were WEIRD!
Here is one of them - I wasn't meant to take a photo...
but we took a sneaky illegal one :-)

woooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
oh the verification word is millese - almost millsie!!
A few things:
1. Elle and Milla were the BEST company!
2. The weirdo guy sharing the upstairs of Little India with us was funny. He sat there like he was asleep forever!
3. Forever Strong wasn't good enough for Blockbuster to order it in.
4. The picture titled 'posing around the fountain' was actually our romantic pic remember? We said something about it being a good place for engagement pics (it was under those arches) and then we laughed and snapped our pic. We are silly.
5. Your illegal pic ... ok, so I actually took it. Probably good cause I don't live in the country so they can't arrest me. I was freaked out by this exhibit. And almost had nightmares about it.
6. Yay Tassie choc!!!
Thanks for your post Milla. You totally beat me to it. I had the bestest time!
Xoxoxo
